Cincinnati's First Thyroid Cancer Support Group To Begin Meeting (05/05)

On Wednesday, June 15, 2005, Cincinnati, Ohio, will welcome the newest thyroid cancer support group. The group is part of a national network of free thyroid cancer support groups affiliated with ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association.

The group is free and open to thyroid cancer patients, families, caregivers. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m. and will be held in Room G0014 of the Mont Reid Pavilion at University Hospital, 234 Goodman Street, Cincinnati, Ohio.

The free support group will be facilitated by Lexi Robbins. After June 15th, meetings will continue to be held on the third Wednesday of each month from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For more information, contact Lexi Robbins at 859-426-0728, or e-mail at Cincinnati_OH@thyca.org.
