Meets: ThyCa Southern Arizona meets on the third Wednesday afternoon of each month from 4:00 to 5:30 pm.

Parking is available in the new parking garage just east of the Cancer Center and follow the signs. From the garage, use the East entrance to the Cancer Center. There will be signs directing you to the meeting room. You may also use the valet parking available at the front entrance.

Special Events: The speaker at our October 23 meeting will be Dr. Marlon Guerrero. Dr. Guerrero was one of the co-authors of "Risk Factors for Decreased Quality of Life in Thyroid Cancer Survivors: Initial Findings from the North American Thyroid Cancer Survivorship Study.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 18-20, 2019, you are cordially invited to the 22nd International Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Conference, in Denver, Colorado, USA.  This event is sponsored by ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association, Inc.

Dozens of leading thyroid cancer specialists from around the country will speak and answer questions about thyroid cancer care and research.  The weekend also features speakers and roundtables on skills for coping with thyroid cancer.  This educational and supportive conference is for people at all phases of testing, treatment, and follow-up for thyroid cancer, as well as caregivers, friends, health care professionals, and anyone interested in thyroid cancer. Scholarships to cover the registration fee are available on request.  Walk-in attendees are welcome.
