The Cancer Support Community (Building 109) is located on the roof of the Redondo Beach Pier parking structure at the end of Torrance Blvd.

- From the 405 South, exit Hawthorne Blvd. and turn right, or
From the 405 North, exit Hawthorne Blvd. and turn left.
- Drive south about three miles to Torrance Blvd (major intersection).
- Turn right (toward the ocean) and go about two miles.
- Pass Pacific Coast Hwy and continue past the next signal (Catalina Ave).
- Turn right at the second driveway (the first is an entrance to a residential complex).
- Go up the ramp on the right. Do not drive into the
underground parking garage.
- Park in the lot to the right at the top. Parking is 25 cents - quarters only. Note your parking space number and get instructions inside the
Cancer Support Community before you pay for your parking at the parking kiosk.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 19-21, 2012, you are cordially invited to the 15th International Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Conference, at the Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca, IL, which is about 15 miles from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. This event is sponsored by ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association, Inc.
Dozens of leading thyroid cancer specialists from around the country will speak and answer questions about thyroid cancer care and research. The weekend also features speakers and roundtables on skills for coping with thyroid cancer. This educational and supportive conference is for people at all phases of testing, treatment, and follow-up for thyroid cancer, as well as caregivers, friends, health care professionals, and anyone interested in thyroid cancer. Scholarships to cover the registration fee are available on request. Walk-in attendees are welcome.
