From the Florida Turnpike (coming from South or North): Exit at Hollywood Blvd and turn right onto Hollywood Blvd. Go straight until you reach Park Road (which is about 2 or 3 miles). Turn right at Park Road. Turn right on Washington St. The hospital will be on the left.
From I-95 (from the North): Exit at Hollywood Blvd and turn right onto Hollywood Blvd.

We will have two special guests at our May 8th meeting: endocrinologist Dr. R. Mack Harrell and thyroid surgeon Dr. David Bimston. They are founders of the Memorial Center for Integrative Endocrine Surgery. After a short presentation, they will be available to address your questions or concerns. The meeting will be in the Mail Auditorium at Memorial Regional Hospital South. |
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 19-21, 2012, you are cordially invited to the 15th International Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Conference, at the Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca, IL, which is about 15 miles from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. This event is sponsored by ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association, Inc.
Dozens of leading thyroid cancer specialists from around the country will speak and answer questions about thyroid cancer care and research. The weekend also features speakers and roundtables on skills for coping with thyroid cancer. This educational and supportive conference is for people at all phases of testing, treatment, and follow-up for thyroid cancer, as well as caregivers, friends, health care professionals, and anyone interested in thyroid cancer. Scholarships to cover the registration fee are available on request. Walk-in attendees are welcome.
