|Special Events:||On November 21, Kathryn Sullivan, MD, a longtime ThyCa Seattle member will be sharing her experience navigating thyroid cancer and the importance of being your own advocate. Kathryn is a great source of knowledge, experience, and wisdom about thyroid cancer, its treatment, and its physical and emotional consequences. She has had a number of consultations, treatments, and surgeries outside of Seattle, including several major cancer centers. Bring your questions, too! We’ll have time for Q&A.
To be rescheduled: Joseph C. Sniezek, MD, MBA, FACS, Medical Director of Head & Neck Endocrine Surgery for Swedish Health Services, will speak to the ThyCa Seattle group on current management of lymph nodes in thyroid cancer and the new ATA guidelines for evaluating thyroid nodules. There will be time for questions.

Nothing discussed at a support group should be considered as a replacement for a doctor's care. We do not give medical advice. We do share support and our own experiences. We are each ultimately responsible for our own care.
