ThyCa Tampa, FL Support Group

Meets: ThyCa Tampa meets the second Saturday of each month from 10:30 to noon.

ThyCa Tampa holds FREE virtual meetings using Zoom at our regular time, 10:30 am to noon ET on the second Saturday of each month. Members of our group or others are welcome. Please email our group facilitators at tampa-fl@thyca.org for the instructions on how to join us. Once we give you the instructions, it will be good for all our meetings until we can start meeting face-to-face. We look forward to seeing you there.

1. South on 275
2. Exit #39 onto Fl-260 West toward Clearwater. - Go 1.8 mi
3. Exit Fl-60 West. Left on W Courtney Campbell Causeway toward Clearwater - 9.5 mi.
4. Causeway becomes Gulf to Bay Blvd - continue 4.7 mi
5. Continue on Court St. toward beaches - 1.3 mi
6. L on S. Myrtle Ave.  - 0.7 mi
7. R on Pinellas St. - 0.3 mi

From St. Petersburg:
1. North on 275
2. Exit #30/Fl686 ton Roosevelt Blvd N toward Largo - Go 1.9 mi
3. Bear L to follow FL-686 West - 7.9 mi
4. At next fork, stay to the right towards Largo. After Clearwater/St. Pete airport, toad becomes West Bay Drive.
5. R on Clearwater Largo Rd. - 1.6 mi
6. L on Pinellas St. -

Once on Pinellas St.:

Go straight (west) toward the hospital, past the stop sign and continue to go straight.
The road will curve to the right and the main entrance to the hospital will be on the right.
Enter through the main entrance of the hospital.
Take the elevator to the 1st floor.
Follow the signs to the cafeteria.
Tuttle Auditorium Room D will be on the left side opposite of the cafeteria.

Dozens of leading thyroid cancer specialists from around the country will speak and answer questions about thyroid cancer care and research.  The weekend also features speakers and roundtables on skills for coping with thyroid cancer.  This educational and supportive conference is for people at all phases of testing, treatment, and follow-up for thyroid cancer, as well as caregivers, friends, health care professionals, and anyone interested in thyroid cancer.
