Local Support Groups

ThyCa support groups are free and open to any and all survivors and their families, students, etc. You may contact the facilitator identified on each page by e-mail or telephone, or you can simply show up on the identified day! Friends and family are always welcome.

If you are interested in starting a support group in your area, please contact the ThyCa Support Group Coordinator at support_coord@thyca.org. You can read our Thyca Support Group Manual here.

Welcome to the following new and returning ThyCa support groups:

• Pacifica, CA meets on the first Saturday of every month starting in June.
• ThyCa Dixie in the Phenix City area of Alabama. This returning group meets on the third Saturday of every month starting in June.
• Climax Springs, MO (Central Missouri) meets the second Friday of every month starting in July. Dr. Uzma Khan may attend.
• Cleveland, OH meets on the first Wednesday of every month starting in August.
