Meets: ThyCa Raleigh meets the third Saturday of each month from 10:30 AM to Noon except in December.

Note: The October meeting of ThyCa Raleigh is moved to October 25 so that we can attend the 17th International Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Conference in Denver. The guest speaker will be Dr. Michael Thomas, MD, PhD, endocrinoligist with Carolina Endocrine. See below for location.

Rex Wellness Center is a separate 2 story building on the corner of Lake Boone Trail and Rex Way, with its entrance on Rex Way. It is a separate facility from Rex Hospital. We meet in the 2nd floor conference room across from the elevator.

Going west on Lake Boone Trail, Rex way is on the right side, about 1/3 of a mile from I-440.

Special Events: On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 2-4, 2015, you are cordially invited to the 18th International Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Conference, at the Sheraton Westport Chalet Hotel in St. Louis, MO, USA.  This event is sponsored by ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association, Inc.

Dozens of leading thyroid cancer specialists from around the country will speak and answer questions about thyroid cancer care and research.  The weekend also features speakers and roundtables on skills for coping with thyroid cancer.  This educational and supportive conference is for people at all phases of testing, treatment, and follow-up for thyroid cancer, as well as caregivers, friends, health care professionals, and anyone interested in thyroid cancer. Scholarships to cover the registration fee are available on request.  Walk-in attendees are welcome.
