ThyCa Washington, DC meets the third Saturday of each month from 10:30 AM to noon.
ThyCa remains cautious due to the evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation.
We do expect some support group meeting sites to begin opening for in-person
meetings. We realize not all locations will open for the foreseeable future.
As such, ThyCa will continue to hold virtual meetings. We encourage all
support group members to be careful and stay safe.
Please take care of yourself. We suggest that you
follow the precautions recommended by your local health agencies and the U.S.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
https://www.cdc.gov/ ThyCa Washington, DC, holds FREE virtual meetings on the Zoom platform at our regular time, 10:30 am to noon Eastern Time. Members of our group or others are welcome. You will need the meeting ID and password to join us, please e-mail our group facilitators at Washington-DC@ThyCa.org for the ID, password, and instructions on how to join us from your computer, or telephone (audio only.) We will continue to meet online until the shelter-in-place order has been lifted and it is safe to meet again in person. We look forward to seeing you there.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 22-24, 2021, you
are cordially invited to the 24th
International Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Virtual Conference. This free
event is sponsored by ThyCa: Thyroid Cancer Survivors' Association, Inc.
Dozens of leading thyroid cancer specialists from around the country will
speak and answer questions about thyroid cancer care and research. The
weekend also features speakers and roundtables on skills for coping with thyroid
cancer. This educational and supportive conference is for people at all
phases of testing, treatment, and follow-up for thyroid cancer, as well as
caregivers, friends, health care professionals, and anyone interested in thyroid
cancer.
